Meet Ashell Maenetja, a young agriculturalist and communal cattle farmer in Limpopo, South Africa, who is happy and keen on building, supporting, and strenghtening his local cattle farmer community. Ashell has many ideas to improve the situation in his community. One focus point is to build and strengthen collaboration, drifting away from individualism. I created an artsy T-shirt for a Bonfire campaign in collaboration with Mike Hansen, a regenerative farmer, activist and artist, from Ozark Akerz Regenerative Farm, to support Ashell in his efforts to purchase livestock identification equipment to start his own agricultural advisor business. Thanks to the campaign and our efforts on LinkedIn Ashell could start his own business in 2024.
